Stephen Pratt

Spanish I and II Teacher

“I try to instill in the students some of my love for the Spanish language and its beauty.  I also try to impress upon them how important it is to speak, or at least have some knowledge of another language.  This is especially true of Spanish which is the 2nd most spoken language in the US.”

Mr. Pratt is originally from the Washington, DC area and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut.  He majored in political science and minored in history.  Steve has been teaching here at WCA for several years.  He thoroughly enjoys the students, and as stated above, truly loves the language.  Steve has been on several mission trips to Spanish speaking countries and has been able to use his knowledge of the Spanish language in a very practical way.

Steve and his wife Jenny live in Gray and have four children, and two of their daughters are graduates of WCA.  Their family attends Windham Assembly of God, and they are very involved in many different church ministries.
